The Aqua Phos Adsorber pond water treatment from Ubbink is a liquid pond water care product that effectively reduces the phosphate content of the pond water and prevents algae from feeding and increasing.

In addition to carbon and nitrogen, phosphate is the nutrient and limiting growth factor for algae. Algae cannot grow without phosphate. Food scraps, fish secretions, leaves, pollen, etc. all add phosphate to ponds. When the amounts are too high and your pond plants can no longer absorb phosphate, algae start to grow. The Aqua Phos Adsorber removes this unwanted nutrient from the water.

Note : Aqua Phos Adsorber should be used when the phosphate content of the pond water is higher than 0.035 mg/L.
