This Ubbink PL-S replacement lamp for the AlgClear UVC 2500 provides longer irradiation and makes green water crystal clear!
If all else fails, an ultraviolet (UV) light will certainly work to rid your pond of algae. The UV sterilizer uses a germ-proof fluorescent lamp that produces light with a wavelength of approximately 254 nanometers (2537 Astromen). When the water passes the lamp and is irradiated with this wavelength, most algae and bacteria are killed.
